Retour dans les années 60 avec les illustrations rétro-futuristes de Matthew Lyons.

Cet étudiant en dernière année d’illustrations et d’animations à l’université de Loughborough (Angleterre) réalise des images aux textures vintage inspirées de l’architecture et des films de science fiction des année 60-70 (Planète Interdite…). Epurées, géométriques, avec un grand souci de la composition, on est parfois proche, dans le style, des affiches réalisées par Saul Bass notamment pour les longs métrages d’Alfred Hitchcock (Psychose, Sueurs froides).

English version (summary) : Back in the 60′s with the retro-futuristic designs of Matthew Lyons. This final year student of illustrations and animations at Loughborough University (England) produces images with textures vintage inspired by architecture and science-fiction’s films of 60-70′s (Forbidden Planet …). Clean, geometric, with a large concern for the composition, it’s sometimes close to the creation of posters by Saul Bass for the cinema (Psycho, Vertigo).
